Be Part of Camp Staff! | Seeking friendly, outgoing, fun and responsible individuals ages 18 and up to be part of camp staff! Camp Snyder Looking for staff to direct our Fort, Big Dig, Ship, Nature, and Handicraft program areas. Also looking for ages 21 and up to direct BB and Archery ranges, Waterfront and Pool activities. Goshen Update | For units who have more than 25 attendees coming to Goshen, a large unit upload template is available at www.GoToGoshen.org under the “Forms and Downloads” tab. Fill out the highlighted sections and email directly to Gary.Carroll@Scouting.org with the subject line “Unit type (Troop/Pack/Team/Crew) Number Large Unit Upload.” Once our developer uploads into the system, I will inform you and you will be able to continue with registration of your unit. Sporting Clays Tournament – May 7-8 |

This spring, Camp Snyder will come to life with the sounds of shotguns breaking clay targets all to benefit NCAC's operations. Our VIP shooter, Redskins Hall of Fame member Dave Butz will also be conducting shooting clinics. There are less than 200 spots left so reserve your space today!

Cubs and their families will take part in activities that may include BB Guns and Archery, Handicraft, and Fishing. Then enjoy a night under the stars in your tent in our campsites. Registration ends Saturday May 1. |
The Ultimate Belt Loop Clinic – May 16 |

The DC Breeze and NCAC are happy to announce a partnership to help Cub Scouts earn their ULTIMATE Belt Loop and Pin. The clinics will conclude in time to watch a game. The Scouts that attended the clinic will have their belt loop or pin presented at halftime. Sign up for both today if desired to lock in your spot. All Eagle Scouts, Venturing Silver recipients, and Quartermasters under age 21 are invited to join us for Eagle Career Day, May 30, 2-4pm. At this event, you will get the opportunity to spend time with local leaders in career fields you may be considering, asking questions and getting advice to help you select college courses, internships, and more! We are also still accepting applications for mentors interested in helping young leaders find their best career path.

NCAC’s High Adventure Committee is sponsoring an adult leader weekend at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia to familiarize Scouters with the programs available at the Summit. When: May 30, 2015 Where: Camp William B. Snyder For Boy Scouts & Venturers. We will be running a design challenge with littleBits Electronics modules. Scouts will receive an intro to the modules, learn about algorithms, then dive into the Maker2015 challenge. Bring your creativity and register in teams of 1-3!
